FLORENTINE LUCKY CHARM BRACELETS
The collections of the Penkini and Guild and Trade Charms spring from the idea of being able to create a personalised jewel, bracelet or necklace with a myriad of tiny charms, each representing a Florentine good luck symbol, and each with its own history and meaning.
The Penkini, in burnished silver with a hexagonal shape, draw inspiration from the tiles of the Bell Tower of the Duomo of Florence and are linked to the symbols that the Florentines carry deep in their hearts: the Marzocco (heraldic lion), the statue of David, the Boboli Gardens’ Donkey… Instead, each of the Guild and Trade Charms represents one of the ancient Florentine corporations, which from the twelfth century onwards thrust Florence into the limelight in the world of art and commerce.
A simple and entertaining way of always carrying with you the Florentine symbols that best identify with your own personality, lifestyle, and career.
Each element is the result of a lengthy working process. In fact, there are 18 steps to be followed, passing from the creation with lost-wax casting to working with the ancient Penkato technique, up to the burnishing and polishing of every piece, in this way turning the tiny charms into true jewels.
On request, customers can also personalise the charms with gold details and precious stones, or even design their own exclusive model for special events and occasions.
